Spending the first few years of my career on Wall Street taught me an important lesson — that creating a sustainable business must be built on having a fiduciary responsibility to one’s clients.
It’s a lesson that I carried with me when I established the 1800FIX.com technology repair store in the Bronx in the 1980s along with my brothers, who also became my business partners.
Back then, we focused on repairing personal pagers/beepers, but as technology evolved, we pivoted, quickly transitioning to a business that specializes in trade-ins as well as the repair and recycling of cell phones, laptops, game consoles and computers. Additionally, selling cell phone plans helped our business grow, allowing us to eventually open additional stores in the Bronx and Westchester.
As a Bronx native and current Westchester resident who has conducted business in both areas for many years, I realize the importance of finding comfort and satisfaction in one’s neighborhood.
That kind of insider knowledge and based on my years of experience working with Bronx-based businesses and residents has helped me transition into the Real Estate/Mortgage Brokerage Industry.
When I think back on my early years in business with my brothers, I realize now that there were certain traits that helped us succeed.
Those traits included our ability to be innovative well before the evolution of the cell phone, our steely determination to work harder than anyone else in our industry, our ability to negotiate deals that were advantageous to our growth, and the integrity that we maintained with our clients.
As a trusted Real Estate Salesperson and Mortgage Advisor to my clients, I understand that buying and selling a piece of property is a complex one, which is why my priority is to make the process as stress-free as possible for my clients.
